How we developed our approach over six years of performance challenges

Back in 2019, we worked with an e-commerce site that kept crashing during flash sales. Standard load testing said everything looked fine, but real users couldn't complete purchases when traffic peaked.

That's when we realized traditional performance testing misses something crucial – the chaos of real user behavior. People don't click buttons at perfect intervals. They refresh pages when things seem slow, abandon carts and come back later, browse on unreliable mobile connections.

So we started building test scenarios that include this messiness. We simulate users who get impatient, networks that hiccup, and the kind of traffic patterns you see during major Vietnamese holidays or shopping events.

Now, by 2025, we've refined this approach across dozens of projects. We test for the unexpected – not just peak load, but recovery time when systems get overwhelmed. We measure performance from Ho Chi Minh City's fast fiber connections and rural areas with spotty mobile coverage.
